Gate Access
The gate is now opened with your phone. We have officially transitioned to an electronic lock — there is no longer a physical key to collect, carry or return.
No More Physical Keys
The Master Lock Vault 6400 on the gate is opened over Bluetooth from the free Master Lock Vault Enterprise app. One-time setup takes about ten minutes. After that, opening the gate is three taps.
You need an invitation from the club administrator before you can log in. If you have not had one, email csaarange@gmail.com and ask for your Master Lock Vault invitation.

One-Time Setup
About ten minutes. You need a smartphone with Bluetooth turned on, and your invitation email.

Download the app
Search your app store for “Master Lock Vault Enterprise” and install it. It is free, on both iPhone and Android.
Install Master Lock Vault Enterprise — not “Master Lock Vault Home”. The Home app will not work with the CSAA gate lock.

Find your invitation email
Sent from noreply@masterlockvault.com with the subject “Welcome to Master Lock® Vault”. It contains your Organization ID (CSAA) and a temporary password unique to you. Check your spam folder if you cannot find it.
The temporary password expires 7 days after the email is sent. If yours has expired, ask for a new invitation.

Log in
Open the app and enter the Organization ID CSAA and your temporary password exactly as they appear in the email.

Create your own password
The app immediately asks you to replace the temporary password. Choose one you will remember — you will use it every time you log in.

Confirm you are in
The app opens on its home screen and you should see a lock named “CSAA Gate Lock”. If it is there, setup is complete.
Opening the Gate
Three steps, every visit. You must be standing next to the lock — your phone connects to it over Bluetooth.

Open the app at the lock
Log in if asked, so that “CSAA Gate Lock” is showing on screen.

Wake the lock up
Press the round button at the bottom-right of the lock's keypad. It lights up blue, and a blue key icon appears next to the lock in the app.

Tap the blue key
The button on the lock turns green — it is now open. Pull the shackle.
It Relocks After 5 seconds
The lock stays open only briefly before relocking by itself. If it beats you to it, just wake it and tap the key again — as many times as you need. Nothing is wrong.
Troubleshooting
Most problems are one of these. Anything else, email csaarange@gmail.com.

| I cannot log in at all | Confirm you installed Master Lock Vault Enterprise and not “Master Lock Vault Home”, and that you are typing the Organization ID (CSAA) and password exactly as shown. |
| The blue key icon never appears | Turn Bluetooth on and make sure the app has Bluetooth permission. Stand within a few feet of the lock and press the round button again. |
| I do not see “CSAA Gate Lock” in the app | Close and reopen the app. If it still does not appear, email csaarange@gmail.com to confirm your account has been given access. |
| The lock relocked before I could open it | Normal — it relocks after about 5 seconds. Repeat wake-up and tap the key as many times as you need. |
Your Access Is Yours Alone
Range Rule 2 prohibits loaning your gate access or membership card to anyone, and doing so is grounds for expulsion. The electronic lock does not change that — your app login is personal to you, and gate openings are tied to your account. Guests shoot with you present, at $5.00 per guest per day.
